“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age’.” Matthew 28:18-20
The Church’s greatest mission is to glorify God in all that we do. We believe that God is glorified the greatest when we worship Him!
Sin has blinded man’s ability and desire to Worship - “For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.” Romans 1:21-23
Our Drive for missions is that God be glorified by all peoples, and that glory being reflected in their true worship of Him!
So we must go to all peoples to preach to them His wonderful Gospel sothat man upon hearing the word, being made alive by the Spirit of God, may by grace be redeemed from his sin enabling true worship of his Lord and Savior forever.
