What does the Bible say about belonging to the body of Christ?
” And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47)
What we believe as a church about membership:
We believe in and practice Regenerate Church membership. meaning that a person must be born again to join with us in covenant membership. Understanding that this can truly only be reckoned out in a life lived together bearing the fruits of repentance.
How do I become a member?
the steps for becoming a member are as follows:
1) Pastor interview
2) Baptism (if needed)
3) Covenant Affirmation
4) Congregational Affirmation
5) Membership Matters Class
Pastor Interview:
A time where you will meet with the Pastor to talk about your desire to become a member. The pastor will ask you to tell him how God has graciously saved you. The pastor then will walk with the candidate through the church’s Constitution, bi-laws, covenant and statement of faith making sure that the candidate understands who we are as a church and what it means to covenant with us as a member.

Covenant Affirmation:
This is time when the pastor and candidate will read through the covenant together affirming the resposibilities of church membership and church life.

Congregational Affirmation:
This is a time where the candidate is presented to the active membership of the church to be voted on for membership.
Membership matters class:
This is a five week class offered periodically throughout the year. this course covers the basics of membership and church life. We strongly recommend that new members sign up for this course.
